As a bass player, my list would go a little something like this.

1. Prescription Electronics Depth Charge-has the best mix of fuzz and low end that I've heard in a pedal for bass. Very articulate.
2. Mountainking Megalith-Heavy, synth like fuzz of destruction. Will blow anything away that's on your board.
3. Audio Monk Fuzzpotion-Very heavy, loud and articulate as well. Lots of low end with this guy and again will blow your fucking brains out.
4. SS/BS TAFM-with or without gate does not matter. The TAFM loves basses and loves to be turned on and played with. heh. Seriously though. Amazing
5. Blackout Effectors Twosome-Versatile fuzz that can get very muffish to very articulate and it fucking sustains FOREVER. Seriously.
6. Dr. Scientist Frazz Dazzler-Holy fuck balls is this thing ballsy.

Meh...I can't think of ten. fuck it.
Going to add to my list.

7. Black Arts Toneworks Pharaoh Supreme. God damn it Excane I'm a hypocrite.
8. Mountainking Magnetar
9. Industrialectric Square Wave Generator (actually should be a lot higher on the list here)-HOLY FUCK
10.

We'll leave 10 open for now.

Wow. My list now would be so freaking different than this. Weird how you learn and grow.

Here's my today list-

1. Darkglass Duality-I've had this since it came out and it's the longest I've kept a fuzz. I still use it constantly.
2. Dr. Scientist Bitquest in Notch or Flanger setting.
3. SS/BS TAFM (without gate)
4. Dwarfcraft TGD
5. Prescription Electronics Depth Charge
6, Dwarfcraft Reece Lightning
7. Secret Seasons Snow Drift
8. Dan W Civil War Muff
9. WMD Geiger Counter Pro (this thing is fucking INSANE)
10. This is reserved for something new. :)

Reserved a space but I'm lazy.

Apparently I missed the '14 and '17 bumps so we're going right back to 2012!!

As long as this has been bumped:

Trombetta Rotobone
SUF Violet Menace
Spaceman Spacerocket
Spaceman Nebula
Basic Audio Bye-bias Ge
Basic Audio Nonts
Basic Audio Super Fuzz
Diablo HEQ-1
Basic Audio Spooky Tooth
And please don't make me choose a final one. I have way too many that haven't gotten onto the list yet, and I love them all.

Wow, so I don't really fuzz anymore. Currently only have a EQD Terminal and Data Corruptor and a RML Tetanus Booster (if that counts as fuzz...?) So this list is a little more of a wish I had/kind of miss list now:
1) Retro Mechanical Labs EFC Studio (mmm rack effects)
2) SS/BS Pretty Years
3) Fairfield Circuitry Unpleasant Surprise
4) Dwarfcraft Great/Secret Destroyer

9) EQD Terminal
10) RML Tetanus Booster
Hmm, in review, my list hasn't really changed that much

I would change this a bit (and it's subject to change again).
I don't have all of these any more but...

Dr Scientist Frazz Dazzler - Gotta have that heavy saturated gated fuzz...plus it cleans up nicely for a weird overdrive with my tele.
Fuzzhugger Absynth 5k &/or Mellowtone Wolf CPU - For the high gain bleeps and the bloops, random arpeggiated octaves, and everything in between
Tone Bender - 3 transistor version...Don't have a particular make in mind.
Roland Bee Baa - Treble boost, 2 big raucous fuzz tones, it's awesome.
3Leaf You're Doom - Really cool octave unlike any others I've tried
Earthbound Audio Throat Locust (dist so what) - Great hm-2 based thing
SnK VHD (dist again) - One of the best high gain distortions ever? Check.
Harmonic Percolator - Every version is unique, much like the circuit itself.
Malekko Plus Ultra 213 - Nice mojo'd muff variant with a sweepable bandpass filter.
Stomping Stones Virus - Was made for me. Does various stuff I like.

Honorable mentions I want to try, or reacquire...
DBA Apocalypse
Fuzz Face (take your pick)
Blackout Effectors Fix'd
Mountainking Magnetar
EQD Data Corrupter

10. Not truly a fuzz but SS/BS Fuck

Will I be banned if I admit I don't think I have even had 10 fuzzes? I feel the only fuzz I can't live without is the tafm though I guess having a second, a couple muffs and maybe a few tonebenders wouldn't hurt. Also I don't get the FZ-2 hype, that's like the only fuzz I've had that I hated, maybe the swollen pickle too but that is just cause of the ridiculous output it has

Revisiting my original list (Oct 11, 2012) - just commenting the more or less recent changes:

1. Tone Bender MKI by jerms

2. Gnomeratron VTF by McSpunkle Dope Priest by EFE
A straight forward Muff instead of the space ship control station that a Gnomeratron VTF is.

3. Buzzaround by D.A.M. Buzztron (or Pigdog Spetrafuzz/Fuzzaround/Indica)

4. Fuzz Face by EFE Black Dust / Black Acid

5. Fuzzrite Death by Audio Apocalypse
Fuzzrite is great but not my thing somehow - don't like my playing (style) with it. So i switched this spot to one of my all time favorites: DBA Apocalypse fat/nasty/8Bit all in there...

6. Wolf Computer by Mellowtone

7. Infanem Second Voice V2 V1
Best fuzzed out octave down sound ever.

8. Algal Bloom by fuzzhugger Brassmaster by jerms
Just use it a lot more than the Algal Bloom, especially on bass.

9. Scrotum Smasher by Metasonix

10. fuzz factory by ZVex by jerms
I have one again! A spammy by jerms. Awesome Fuzz Box.

Like the old positive ground version? How different is it from the new circuit?
