I see what you’re saying here but Josh also left the church in 2013 and that’s the same year this doc was made. What if that’s why he left? The church leaders there are super corrupt but it doesn’t mean they all are. Some of them are spreading these terrible lies about what Christians believe. I’m a Christian and I’d never in a million years side with those assholes that went to Uganda. I think that there’s no way to prove any money Josh or JHS donated ended up funding that trip. I mean, how would you know? Or am I missing something crucial here?? I might be! I’m seriously asking.

Well, at least some people involved in other churches did good things on other areas of Africa. My father owned a charity for awhile and we used to build wells in Zimbabwe for the people. They had no running water and the nearest source was something like 50 miles away. We built several hundred wells in small areas throughout and also donated a truck for them (shipped it via boat) so they could get around easier. I know a man who lives in Zimbabwe and has invited to come on numerous occasions. I’m just scared.

I hope Mike had nothing to do with any of this but it looks like that may be impossible. :(

This world is so fucked up sometimes.

Fair. I have nothing new to contribute, but I see and respect your arguments. I don't know anything more than you, but I do enjoy a good JHS bashing.

We made stuff for them at my old job and I wrote JHSkewes on the package. You know, just as a little reminder. :)
