Are you certain about your pedal order for the foreseeable future? Like you're not gonna get a wild hair and throw a fuzz at the end of everything or your reverb at the front? What if the day after you mount everything, the most amazing tantalizing new pedal comes out and you have everything set in stone?

I hope if you're really considering this, it's for a practical reason and not for cool points
I use dual lock on everything and it isn't really an issue. Pedals are super stable. I can rearrange the same as velcro as most pedals are about the same size and have dual lock on the same spots. Its more about having a layout that allows you to swap pedals than having the pedals attached firmly. Its not like dual lock or other mounting methods are truly permanent.

Yes this!

And with some of the previous responses, I feel I must be missing some inside joke with y'all? Anyway I appreciate those of you that have shared your opinions and experience!

Good power supply like the Voodoo Lab PP2+.
Good pedalboard cable like the Evidence Audio Monorail (with SIS plug).
Good guitar cable... I like the Divine Noise cable or the Evidence Audio Reveal (10 feets).

Signal loss is real man! It's totally preventable as others have noted though. I had 26 plus pedal on my board at one point with zero signal loss. I had a buffered pedal and the beginning and several through out my board and had no issues.

I will say that when I went smaller I noticed more low end though but it was probably because I was using too many digital effects and I'm stupid. hahaha

Yeah, it’s not just you-reading through this thread, I didn’t understand the inside joke references either.

Doesn't take up much space and saved one of my friend's signal through his mothership of a pedalboard.

Ok, this one I understand. OP, I think what UC is getting at here, is that the guy who runs JHS is supposedly involved in a radical dangerous Christian organization that aims to suppress gay rights, at the very least... So you shouldn’t support JHS, and for a variety of other reasons, as well (which have been discussed on the internet many times, and shouldn’t be too hard to find, if you’re curious).

Luckily, there’s a ton of other buffers out there you can try out, if you’re interested. If you’re looking at putting a buffer at the start of your signal chain, and you have fuzz pedals whose tone you don’t want to be altered, I’d recommend the Screamin’ Fx Clarionix buffer.

Listen I know Mike Bickle personally who is the head of IHOP church. Josh is not associated with the church in anyway. I've confirmed it. LOL!! Josh used to be a musical youth minister. He's not even a member anymore as far as I've been told (and there's no reason to lie).

The Uganda thing. I don't know know what the fuck happened there? I need a source. Mike was not involved though. The other church people were preaching anti gay bullshit, but he's not a murderer. So, I'm not sure what that is about.

What changed my mind on Bickle recently? He showed my family a great respect by coming to my grandmother's funeral and speaking with us all and just being human. I haven't seen that side of Mike in 20 years. That gives me hope for him.

I'm not saying that IHOP isn't bad, but I am saying Josh is not. I've met him a few times now and he's not a bad guy. He's just a run of the mill business man who doesn't have everything figured out.

If you search the web you can (or at least could) find an archived interview with Josh at a minister website where he says that JHS is directly involved with missionary work abroad from sales made by selling pedals. I know Josh isn't involved with ihop anymore, but at some point and for some time, he clearly was. So, even if he didn't know what their mission was abroad (although that seems quite naive to believe), JHS money did at some point fund that horrendous anti-gay missionary work that caused plenty of death and suffering in parts of Africa.

You can see this documentary on missionary work in Uganda for reference.

JHS: I think the industry is filled with a lot of the same things with different labels, and we’re trying to be different.
