Re: Radio FX
Also I live in a town with the largest volume of "historic low level radioactive waste" in Canada. Curious to see if this will impact my usage at all.

They weren't too careful when they were originally mining/processing uranium:dubkitty wrote:"historic low level radioactive waste"![]()

It's really low-level, though. Not more than the background in most places.

i sort of figured it was a mine-tailings issue.

I got an invoice that a Soma Ether unit is available for purchase, I had forgot about being on the waiting list. I'm still excited about it, but a little surprised that shipping is $50 (the unit itself costs $140). I've never ordered anything from Russia before, I guess that's just what shipping costs... ouch.

No love for the good ol' poorly shielded guitar into a leaky fuzz picking up radio? I used to love it during rehearsals when my bass' active electronics picked up radio and it sounded like some skinny puppy or neurosis interlude. Radio fuzz is untapped potential

I don't know if someone else mentioned it already but the Tune In Tokyo is a radio type synth DIY project. I actually ordered chips for it like a week ago.. It does neat stuff.
