I read somewhere that she only had about a day to prepare for that "Black Horse" performance - some other act fell through or something and she just laid it down. Best bit of press the Headrush ever had.

I also like it that she isn't a "looping artist", as in it's just another tool in her kit rather than her shtick. There are more and more "traditional" bands adding loopers to their rigs, but not so much in the Pop realm.

I dunno, I like her. :idk:

I'm currently using a SMM/H and a DD7.

Occasionally I'll synchronize them. :omg:

I bought the Boss RC-2 when I was looking for a looper because for the money it seemed to have the best specs: 16 minutes of loop time, the ability to save 10 different phrases (or something like that), tap tempo, built in drumbeats if you so desire, etc, etc. I think the RC-2 is easy to use, but, honestly, I find myself using the looper function on my SMMH more often because its even simpler, and because 30 seconds is really enough time in most applications. So if you don't need tons of loop time and options, a smmh or headrush will give you a great, easy to use looper with tons of sweet delay stuff as well. The RC-2 or any of the more expensive Boss loopers I think are great, too, depending on what you want/want to spend. The Boomerang is amazing as far as ease of use if you don't mind having a loop pedal that's the size of an entire pedalboard, and the original ones are getting quite cheap these days.

When using a looper I usually make some weird drone noises and crazy textures and play the song normally on top of it. I also liked (on the pds-1002, which is sort of a looper) changing the speed and pitch of teh signal and making trippy toybox noises. :joy:
