I've got old ones and new ones, and in at least three different lengths - all of them were cheap, none have broken yet.

I've just been cutting up old power cables and soldering them to the jacks on my pedals.

I liked George L's for tight spaces (the jacks are the smallest and the cables can snake through tight spaces). But they are too expensive.

Recently I started buying molded cables on Ebay from a seller "yovus" which can come in different lengths and colors - maybe it's dumb, but it will be hard for other people to take colored cables accidentally.

What diameter? I’ve found that anything less than a 1” diameter coil doesn’t have enough capacitance- I can hear the lack of picofarads. Color matters too, I think the dyes might interact with the electrons. Ymmv.

I’ve found the diameter of coil doesn’t affect my setup too much in one way or another. A bigger concern for me would be flexibility of the coil, as I like the ability to place my pedals very far apart if I feel like running around. You could say the entire stage is my pedalboard. At times.

About 15 years ago I worked in a guitar shop and I remember an older guy bringing in a bunch of gear to sell because he was done playing music or moving or something. He had a board that had all the pedals screwed down and hardwired together. It wasn't sellable as is so I don't think he got much for it but it was a couple fun old things on a piece of plywood.

Does your ebay guy have white ones? I actually have been looking for all white right angle low profile ones but haven't had much luck.
Yes :)

Note: the 6" cables are really 5 inches, and only good for next-door connections. The 12" cables are really like 11" and more useful IMO.

This seller has a ton of different cables.

Evidence SIS solderless and Divine Noise. Kinda on opposite ends of the spectrum.. Evidence are the most reliable solderless I've found, small plugs/thin, but still not perfect (unless you make them so). Divine Noise - big plugs/thick but I have complete confidence that they'll work. I ordered a bunch of custom ones directly once, and even though I sold a couple, between those and the Evidence I have plenty. Might get some George L's plugs and cut up my non-working long cable of theirs, but then are they really solid enough.
