EBS cables are my favorite because they don't take up much room between pedals and they're durable.

What lengths would be less weird?

I use coily cables for patching my board, for that nice high end rolloff.

I bought like 5 sets of hosa and warwick cables on sale years ago and still use them. Nothing special but they were cheap and work fine. Only had 2 go bad on me so far. Wouldn't mind getting some of those ebs flats sometime though.

I've moved in a new direction though, trying to be a little less wasteful and to save a bit of $ for myself as well, so I've been chopping up those free cables they give you at Guitar Center and making my own patches out of em. Works. And they have the same high end rolloff.

I've got old ones and new ones, and in at least three different lengths - all of them were cheap, none have broken yet.

I've just been cutting up old power cables and soldering them to the jacks on my pedals.
