Oh man... Night of the Comet. There's a throwback. Does it hold up?

I mean it barely held up when it was released. Haha

Other than featuring a young and probably then-unknown Robert Beltran (aka Commander Chakotay on Star Trek Voyager), some quirky one-liners, and creative use of lens filters to emulate night comet dust during daylight scenes, probably not so much ... unless you find helmet hair sexy.

Looks like Netflix is trying to come up with something to justify the price increase.

Hmm... let's take a classic success like The Office and rehash it... say, in space!

I look forward to seeing the Assistant to the Galactic Manager, though.

I just hope they don't try to make it into The Orville.

I’m going to hold out hope on Space Force. There could be something great there.

Punisher S2 and Grace and Frankie S5 (reminder, I’m old) are gonna have to wait—rebinging Breaking Bad now, into S3, and man, does it hold up!

Bruh we're hyped for Grace and Frankie too, it's k. We watched Jeopardy for like 3 hours last night. Then Law and Order: SVU. That's how old I am.

jia. just started Punny Season The Second. looks good so far, any enjoyment is bittersweet because even if it's the BEST THING EVER, there won't be a third. Netflix is losing all the Marvel stuff to Disney.

Just watched A Quiet Place. Holy shit that was an amazing movie. I've never had a horror movie evoke such strong emotions before. Amazingly well done. I highly recommend it.

I'm also working through Maniac right now. I'm really enjoying that as well.

Anyone watching Trigger Warning with Killer Mike?
Trailer looks...interesting.

Update: one episode in, it's funny and interesting.

Glass was AWESOME. loved it.

Punny 2 is a'ight so far. it started a little LET'S DO ARYA AND THE HOUND forced, but i'm starting to dig the interactions with the grrL.

except -
NSFW: show
fuck fuck fuck fuck FUCK the way they did Jigsaw. he's supposed to be HIDEOUS. they took a meh looking guy and made him way more attractive with a few interesting scars. shit is distracting and feels like a copout and kinnnnnnd shits all over the beautifully violent end to the previous season.

I appreciate that the setting for this new season of The Punisher is theoretically somewhere near me.
