For more expensive (but powerful) options, the Roland SP404-SX is great. And the Zoom R24 (a multi-track recorder) can play back samples and is pretty cool in a different way...

Sp404 does look sick but is still a little up there for me. Hopefully scoopin something up in the next week. Still leaning towards the po33 just cause of the price and most of the demos make it look dreamy as well as somewhat simple

Also, brokenout the old iPad and a screen kit is only 30 dollars so I may try and get that thing running. What’s a good cheap midi interface so I can sync it up with my other stuff
