Moog delay sounded alright.

SUPERDELAY

Sunny Day Delay sounds really nice too! I like the brightness of it, but I just wish you could go into crazy modulation land with it. I guess that's why you would put a Cosmichorus after it (or before it). [

Not a fan of the Aqua Puss though. Bit too grainy.

Carbon Copy reminded me why I loved delay in the first place (I was thinking about getting that one first).

Okay, this might not have been the best Echoczar clip (kayzer took care of that one so far on youtube), but it still sounds damn awesome.

Memory Man is a classic and still sounds good. Has it's own character that no delay has matched.

Memory Lane is really good! Really warm, but the Superdelay kicks it's butt.

As crazy and awesome as the Replex is, I still think it's only sub-par as a delay. However, this clip is probably the best one I've heard of the pedal, and it does a nice job matching the repeats to the original signal.

Roland SRE-555 is just... WHERE CAN I GET ONE AAAAA

All in all, it looks like the sunny day delay did pretty damn well put up against some of the bigger guys!

The SRE-555 sounded incredible, super cheesey modulation but the way it swirls and decays is fantastic.
DMM was setup so badly...
ML sounded great. Better than the VMSD clip imo, which had a generic tape sound, which although sounded accurate, was boring imo.
The SDD sounded quite digital, but that was no bad thing really. I like how it sounds clear but warped with the slight modulation.

I am a firm believer that the regular SD tape mode sounds much better than the VMSD tape mode.

Now if it only had more modulation...

Sweet demo! Although the whole DOF thing was really distracting. :poke: It was like the camera man JUST discovered it.

Otherwise, awesome production quality. I don't see the point of the echoczar though. :idk:

The point of the echoczar is that you don't have one...

the sre-555 is chorus going into delay rather than modulated delays, isn't it?

Definitely. VMSD tape is just overdone, cheesy tape imo
The good/cool/quirky qualities of a tape delay only x 10
kind of a romantic idea of what tape delays sound like

buy a cosmichorus and a sunny day delay, dial in a nice chorus, run it into the sunny day delay set to 400ms with 3-4 repeats, and enjoy
