I seriously cannot tell them apart... some say "PRO" on the truss rod cover, some say SG, and there's one that says Gibson. Is the Goth SG good? I want a standard SG snarl etc. I have analysis paralysis.

Yeah i think they're nice for the price. You get good hardware, decent pickups and a set neck. Its the same as the "Pro" g400's. My standards arent super high but I think they're fully playable cheap guitars. As for the truss rod covers lots of people swap those so they can be like "BRO THIS IS A GIBSON". The one cool feature the gothic models have is a killpot which is like a momentary kill switch when you push down the pot. Fun with feedback and stuff.

Morfbeats has a 20% off orders over $100 going on with code morfbeats. I just ordered a 14" tongue drum for the random snare I was given and a Cricket bow. More tools for horror soundtracks :excellent:

Did anyone check out the OBNE sale? I didn't renew some of my newsletter subscriptions this fall, so I missed this initially. When I finally got to their sale, some of the best stuff was gone. They've added some Dark Stars today, though, to go along with the weekend's remainders.

The sale runs through the 30th, and the 15% off is automatically deducted at checkout (+free shipping).

I'm not usually a fan of the artwork on the old blood pedals but black on black dark star looks sick.

Cyber-week on the Digitech Freqout, $115 @ Zzounds.

Bagged one because, well, it'd been on my list and discounts on 'em means...discontinued soon.

Yes, I've been waiting to see when/if the Whammy Ricochet would go on sale. The Carcosa is $75 now and the Obscura is $90.

Ricochet is $95 new from ProAudioStar through their eBay store. Some people are at “never again” with PAS for various shipping and customer service fails, so be warned.. But I have not (yet?) been screwed by PAS and that’s absurdly cheap. If I weren’t pedging for ILFSS, I would have hit deals on Ricochet and Whammy V just for FOMO in case discontinued.

I am a bass player in a post-metal act, who also messes with synths to create textural segues and some secondary music elements.
I have been a good boy all year.
I have $300 to spend.

What should I buy myself for the holiday shopping season?

1. IK Multimedia UNO synth
2. Alexander Quadrant
3. Darkglass B7K Ultra
4. DOD Rubberneck Delay
5. Korg Volca FM
6. A clue
