Recent 'should have bought it' gear?
Recently had to pass up on some gear, which I really wish I just bought it
70s deluxe memory man (my favorite pedal, own 2 90s reissues, this particular one was used in demos that first inspired me to get a DMM)
super early zvex octane (realized after it was what I wanted, price lower than I'll ever get again)
Anyone else pass on some choice gear lately?

passed up a jomox xbase 888 and 09 recently...it was rough
also passed on a sunn pa system but it would have been a 3 hour drive to get em and 3 hours back.
...i think it was for the better, my wallet almost had a heart attack
dude i would love to get my hands on a 70s DMM....i also have a 90s DMM and it sounds awesome...ive tried to replace it many times with other delays thinkin it would be easily replaced....DMM crushed everytime

Well, this isn't so recent but I'm going to share anyway. This is because I'm a rebel and I break all the rules.
A year or two ago I found a Frantone Cream Puff for sale for something like $120. BUT, I had recently bought a car, so I couldn't really buy anything.
I used to own a Cream Puff but it and a bunch of other gear was stolen. I currently have a Peach Fuzz, but it's just not the same.
Somebody give me a Cream Puff.
It's not very interesting, but there it is!

1966 Ge Fuzzrite on ebay -- went for $180 and I forgot about it
Also just missed a 50s Gibson acoustic on CL pretty cheap, and I've been looking for one for ages. One of the disadvantages of not living in the city...
Worst though is a guy offered me a (70s I guess) 50W HiWatt half stack in the 80s because he was 'upgrading' to some mosfet Marshall crap to 'get away from all that old valve amp rubbish'. Asking price was £50! But I was an unemployed teenager, broker than a really broke thing, and I couldn't afford it.

What a painful thread, it feels like group therapy. Here's mine
Henman-Bevilacqua offset Jazzmaster style with chrome pickguard and fittings on pale green wood... the company has split (lost the Bevilacqua) and will produce cheaper guitars (their headstocks are fugly but wow, it's an Apple-guitar) designdesigndesignANDsound
I had half the funds saved... $2500US and was going to take a trip to the US next year to get my own with all the fittings, but now... am heartbroken.

'66 Mustang on ebay. White Finish, beat to absolute shit. One of the prettiest guitars I've ever seen.
On the plus side it would've easily required a couple hundred dollar set-up to get it back in tip top playing form.
