Re: Sound Shanks! Dream Crushers!
How would you describe the sound of these?
Differences?
Man, I wish I had some money to spend. I was experimenting with my Tusk Fuzz last night, thinking about how I need more EQD in my life. haha.

Re: Sound Shanks! Dream Crushers!
OK, dumb question time. Can I use my Voodoo Lab ISO-5 to power both the Dream Crusher & Sound Shank (obviously on separate cables) with the standard cables or do I need to use the reverse polarity? I see the Sound Shank says Positive Ground, but it looks like it's still Negative Center, is that right? How about the Dream Crusher, the pictures don't show a power diagram on the pedal.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Yeah, always use standard cables. Both power jacks are wired to take the standard plug, they just have positive grounds.

Re: Sound Shanks! Dream Crushers!
Sound Shank just got in and I played it for a couple hours. It is REAL LOUD!! Volume at 9:00ish was unity for me. As the description says, it can go from thin and brittle to thick sustain with the timbre knob. The pedal seemed really bright with my rig, I have a Strat+ going into a Hot Rod Deluxe. I am very pleased with the sound and it may be knocking some stuff off my board.

First post here. Just got my sound shank and it's incredible sounding, I've been curious about a buzzaround for a long time. It's like the mix of a clear and articulate muff and a great tonebender. Thanks EQD!

Hey, is this Sound Shank any different from the old one I have? Or same parts?

From someone elses review online, the old one had OC76 + NKT 275 transistors. New one has AC125.

Re: Sound Shanks! Dream Crushers!
i cant recall if i read this somewhere in one of these threads, but dream crushers need to go first in the chain, yes? what about the sound shank? i guess as long as there's no buffer before its all good?

Re: Sound Shanks! Dream Crushers!
I think the instructions for both said that they should go before anything buffered in the chain. Is that right?
Also - for these positive ground pedals, can you run them off of a 1Spot if everything on the 1Spot is positive ground?

Thanks Jero. No adaptor needed right? (Those adaptors reverse the polarity of the barrel if I understand it correctly, is that right?)
