That is an excellent question that I didn't even ask myself. It's entirely possible that they are too low to begin with. I'll check that tonight - thank you!
Been meaning to post that upon going back and actually looking at the pedals going into the Micromix, I realized that only the DD5 has an actual level control! I did try tweaking it and it didn't make much of a difference.
