New season of Patriot up on Prime. Not a show for everyone, going by S1's reception, but the it pressed all the right buttons in exactly the right ways for me, so I can't wait.

Started season 2 of Lore on Prime.. the first season was narrated, which I kind of liked. The 2nd season is more like just a straight up drama, with better production. Not sure if that is actually better, but it's pretty good still.

Also started The Expanse finally. Really enjoying that. Kind of interesting to see how much total recall and bladerunner they continue to rip off, and may be some wing commander haha. It's great though.

Can anyone tell me what Hold the Dark was about? Anything at all?

No, I watched it. And, while I thought it was well made, I doubt there was actually a point to it. I'm usually good with "open to interpretation" movies. David Lynch is my favorite director. But, I felt like this movie was just pretending.

I watched Hellraiser for the first time last night. K.
The dude forming out of the floor was AWESOME. I thought the chains shooting out of the walls was pretty neat too.
The homeless....dragon...guy...um, I'm not entirely sure what went on there.

Homeless guy is the guardian/courier, who gets the box back to the seller to start the whole thing over again. That wasn't obvious? :idk:

Ohhhh that's right. I kept fading in and out of sleep while it was on, so it was kinda like a fever dream of a movie.
Apparently there are 9 of these, but how many are worth watching?

sooooo.... Legion is hellza good. ignored it because kinda burnt on super heroes and Logan was okay, but besides that..... when was the last good X-Anything?

but loving it. on episode 4 of season 1. hoping season 2 hits Netflix soon, but the wifey REALLY wants to watch the last season of Sunny, so might pay for a month of FX.

Legion is insanely good. Never mind genre or Marvel sourcing. If it’s not the most inventive TV show I’ve ever seen, it’s really close.
