Shit guys, thanks for all the support!

So our bassist runs a small surf/pop-punk label so he knows distributors and publicists and all that shit. Our album doesn't really fit his label but he started a subsidiary label basically just to sign us. He also picked up a release from Horse Torso (who are awesome) and we may play some shows with them soon.

Anyways, we were originally going to do a 7 inch but apparently record stores are much more likely to stock a 12 inch, so we're doing a one sided 12 inch with an etched b side. I'll have the artwork for the b side soon, and here's the back cover of the album.

I don't know if my dudes want me to talk about all this but I'm too excited not to share. I'm tempted to put up another song too :picard:

Hey! Here's another song off our EP.

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1eTE73m ... p=drivesdk

This is usually our set closer. It's our longest song so far, and it's a lot of fun to play. I also get to have some fun with noise and oscillations and pre-dirt delay! My voice was a little shredded on this one I think. We did all the vocals in one day, over like 4 hours so I got pretty worn out.

Anyways, enjoy!

Dude this is awesome, right up my alley. I'm down for a vinyl and if you ever come through Texas hit me up and I can get y'all on a bill with us for a shoulder-to-shoulder-packed house show with other folks who love to buy merch and support bands.

Also, your guitar tone is great and perfect, but that bass tone is what I hear in my dreams. I'd love some details on that if you've got 'em.

Sounds great, good job. Ian from Part Chimp has started using Quilters instead of regular amps too, i really need to check them out.

Yeah, this new-ish session is really good. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nBRU4AOEF68 And there's another video from this where they go through their gear and show off their Quilters. I'm seriously thinking of getting one now haha.

Dude, they're awesome. Part Chimp too, but I mean Quilters. I got the 101 and I rarely turn the volume past noon. I run it pretty clean and use my pedals for gain. It takes them so well, and it never gets weird and squishy and compressed when you hit it hard.

It's 100w on the Jazz setting but they make a 200w version too. I can't see myself ever needing that though. They're seriously the perfect pedal platform.

The literal sole complaint I have is that sometimes it's a little dark. I keep the treble maxed on it and sometimes still find myself wanting more top end. But I can just use pedals for that.

Bonesly: Thanks dude, I'll definitely let you know if we ever make it that far west!

I have good news about that tone, it's not expensive to get. My bassist uses a Jazz bass into a DS-1 and FZ-5. Such a funny contrast to my boutique board  I thought about having a bass OD/fuzz dual pedal made for him for Christmas or something but he sounds good with his setup so I don't wanna insult him haha

He didn't use his amp when we recorded. The studio had an Yamaha b100ii which you can find for around 200 bucks used I believe. It's an older solid state head and it sounded gnarly. He ran that into an Ampeg 1x15 with an Eminence speaker.

Maybe if I keep pushing it I can get a sponsorship!

I wanna be sponsored by Quilter, Jazz III picks, and smallsound/bigsound.
