Yeah. This is always the answer isn't it.

Thanks for the input folks

The wh-10 and 535q are definitely on the radar now. :thumb: I'll have a nice long think about it and also research DIY versions and which basic vox/dunlop is easy to mod (not modern SMD component stuff) and maybe just buy one of those to tweak to suit me.

I gots a songwriter type show for the first time in ages tomorrrow, so I got a band together for it. I'm playing my acoustic resonator guitar for the whole set, and I've got a pretty sick small board lined up: Eventide Pitchfactor (really just there for the tuner tbh) -> Meris Enzo -> Ct5 -> ss/bs Mini -> Tensor + expression control (on-the-fly reversing/tape stop sounds) -> ss/bs No Memory
And, man, this setup freaking slays. I only use the Mini for adding a little umph to one section of one song, but the rest is perfect for clean manipulations, ambient time travels, & post-song loopin's. This is hands-down the quietest band I've ever been in despite us being a 5-piece (soon to be a 6-piece) & I'm heckin' into it. No more volume arms race & we can hear the subtleties of one another's parts, it's absolutely magic.

solo tunes:
completed works || loosey goosey releases
associated acts:
Raab Zamboni (fake jazz/real noise//sax, modular synth, editing, misc) || Field Guide (my best friends//sax on 2 tracks)

I make t-shirts, patches, koozies, buttons, CDs, sometimes tapes, and eventually i'll start working on pedals again. DM me for pricing!

There is definitely something to be said for this approach.... Sounds like a great sitch--enjoy!

Wrong thread.

And wrong statement, but you're right.

Has/does anyone use an Elements as a boost for a high gain head? I loved mine as a distortion channel on my board, but sold it before I bought anything higher gain. Any other ideas for boosts with EQ and tons of volume? I need to tighten up a JCM900 SLX.

This sounds like something I’d definitely be into. Any chance there is recordings or anything? Even if not, sounds hecka fun to play.

Marshall headstock is way better than any other Gibson-inspired headstock, too bad they chose that Les Paul body.

The camera position for that video is driving me nuts. The angle is just wrong enough to obscure literally everything that's going on. Interesting sounds but :idk:.
