Yea, it's 10 inputs on front 6 on back, with 8 outs (which you can use 2 for monitors or as many as your platform supports). Can outputs as well.
It can run in "offline" mode as a pure mixer apparently (not that again I've ever used it as same, but read the manual).

What do you think about the 20x20? Has less analog ins than the 16x08, since half of its 20 channels are the S/PDIF and optical ins... but it does have USB 3.0. Maybe that makes it a little more future proof?rfurtkamp wrote:Yea, it's 10 inputs on front 6 on back, with 8 outs (which you can use 2 for monitors or as many as your platform supports). Re: Need mixer help
I'm using mine on a 3.0 port now.
Issue for future, like any of them, is drivers.
And no one can predict, but this series has been good.

True, true, which I'm already at the mercy of with my current interface that was first introduced almost 10 years ago.rfurtkamp wrote:I'm using mine on a 3.0 port now.

I didn't realize a USB 2.0 output wouldn't bottleneck the speed going into a 3.0 port! Nice.

If it works, it works.
Some have issues, some don't.
Just like I'm still using some USB1 items without...well..

Word up. Oh I wanted to ask you too: are you messing with the other outputs or doing any internal software signal routing with it? I was thinking of eventually incorporating a patch bay and having two outputs for monitors, and the rest of them going into there for effects sends and then back into the inputs.

Re: Need mixer help
Most I'll do is use a couple of the other outputs as a send (and then patch into the multi-purpose front panel 1/4"s that are my "varies easily by project inputs" that aren't wired into something specific.
It reamps just fine if I want it to (usually for mastering projects where it just needs something on my outboard toys versus software).
For mono reamping, I usually use the GT-100 or Eleven rack though.
Can do live monitoring of any of the inputs as desired as well (I usually keep them muted, because, well...the latency is something ridiculously low as all modern interfaces are (2.7ms IIRC)

Re: Need mixer help
Get the slightly more expensive behringer that has the USB out. I have it and it rules. Makes home recording so easy
