Dumb question maybe I've never grasped the use of the tuner daisy chain feature. What's the advantage of doing that vs. just using a 1spot?

Follow up question. I have an OUT that is always on. What is the smallest tuner out there that can be always on (I don’t need a foot switch)

Maybe running other pedals off the battery of the tuner? Although I have no idea if you can even do that.friendship wrote:Dumb question maybe I've never grasped the use of the tuner daisy chain feature. What's the advantage of doing that vs. just using a 1spot?

But you still need an AC adapter and the daisy chain plugs right?Inconuucl wrote:I don't have to buy a one spot.friendship wrote:Dumb question maybe I've never grasped the use of the tuner daisy chain feature. What's the advantage of doing that vs. just using a 1spot?

I've used mine with a Pedal Power 2 when I wanted to add a ninth pedal to the chain. Just used an extra power supply cable I had lying around.friendship wrote:But you still need an AC adapter and the daisy chain plugs right?Inconuucl wrote:I don't have to buy a one spot.friendship wrote:Dumb question maybe I've never grasped the use of the tuner daisy chain feature. Re: the wonderful world of tuner pedals
Used to be that boss would sell a cable that split off the tuner. It was male to make x 5 or something. The Ibanez, godlyke, and one spots where the first I saw with a female end to split directly off the adapter. Guess they figured the tuner was the most common pedal and a split there made sense.
I think part of it was convention for pretty wiring in those old boss molded cases and displays.

To spare place on my board I use the tuner inside the Zoom Multistomp!
