I recently built an attemp at octa-delay, called the Elevator Pitch

It's a pt2399 delay with the repeats going trough a Green Ringer based octa-fuzz circuit, kinda like if you put an EQD Tentacle in the Rubberneck's loop.

Next step is graphics and PCB design, I'm a total noob at Eagle so it might take a while.

Sick. Did you use an in and an out buffer for your "effects loop" inside the delay? I've got nearly the same thing on my bread board right now messing with buffers..

no buffers, I might try it when I get back to the breadboard. I messed around with low pass filters, to make it sound like your guitar's tone knob is rolled down (because the octave effect sounds better like that) but I ended up prefering to roll the tone knob down myself and leaving the pedal as simple as possible.

couple things recently
1a. swapped the "stomp" switch on this TC wire tap i just got. i had heard about the crummy switches TC uses
but i could still not believe that they think what they have is good enough to stomp on repeatedly.
its not even a stomp. its a tact switch...wtf!? its laughable. i honestly LOL'ed

1b. an active add trails to anything fx loop pedal & board i made. prolly not the most efficient way to do it but it does it!
was inspired by a thread on here a couple months(?) back where someone used like a boss pedal and a y cable.

2. i've done a couple of these already but did another one. PO33 KO! modded with better (not jumpy!) pots and a lock switch on the side
mini knobs are for a roland boutique tr08 (i purchased extra knobs from roland's parts department awhile back)

3. modded my MFB 522 which is like an analog mini 808ish clone.
changed the power jack, flipped the polarity to center negative and added a step up voltage regulator so it can be powered from anything below 12V.
USB battery! or just a onespot or something. might try to put a LIPO battery in it for fun but i didn't have the battery charger board at the time.

FINALLY got the Exciterator boxed. Got stalled at waiting for the damn trimmer to show. Compared it against my original PS-021, and it's dead on.

Do you guys use inkjet photo paper in a laser printer for making the enclosure etchings? Is there any special paper made for this?

Typically I've seen all the tutorials indicate transfer paper.. never done it myself though

Yeah I did some pedal graphic design work for him and he sent me some boards in return. It is a jive into a modified fernweh

Two different animals. This is a clone of the Guyatone PS-021. It's a subtle tone shaper. It's like "secret tone sauce" for your tone. Works really well with single coils, helping to thicken up the tone a bit. For humbuckers, it will actually smooth out the clean sound, and add some sustain. In both cases, the Exciter control can help define whether you want the odd or even harmonics to be predominant. Or, you can use it as a boost with benefits.

Right on. Seems like that would be pretty excellent. I like parametric filters for that sorta stuff too.
