I would like to have a look at the manual (which is not yet online).
I'm wondering if the input is mono only, or stereo-able via TRS cable, and what you can actually control with the FSW and EXP inputs.
Also I would like to understand what the looper can really do.
Mono input on a do-it-all super delay would be an unforced error given the competition. EHX sometimes screws up.

God damn that sounds good.

Has EHX unfucked their QC yet?

It does sound good. Now if they could just use quality parts, they'd have a quality pedal. Those bastards go so cheap on everything in their pedals. Their old shit is built like tanks and this new stuff is just awful.

In the span of a few years I've had 2 POG2s, a uPOG, DMM, Bass Muff, Small Stone, and Q-Tron all shit the bed on me (and the Bass Blogger sounded like ass from day one), so while I think this could shake up the superdelay world if they unfuck their QC I'm not gonna hold my breath.

That's a whole lotta POGs right there

But yeah, the QC will remain what it is as long as ppl keep buying EHX pedals, just like Line 6 will never revise the DL4, or Cadillac won't make a car that can run forever.

Is it so much to ask for just a simple 16SDD emulation :mope:

What additional features does this have when compared to the original pedal? Is it mostly just more switches, knobs, etc?

There are two new modes: Drum and Double. And the looper is longer with controls more like the 720. And it has the expression input.

Sometimes I think about loopers and fancy delays. But then I remember I've sold fancy things in the past. But then... temptation. This looks very cool. Makes me nostalgic for when I had a SMMH, only this does WAY more stuff...

The manual is online at last. It all looks good to me (but I don't need stereo input). The Octave mode on the Canyon has become Pitch on the Grand Canyon, which I hadn't noticed at first--it can do single-shift TimeBender-style or spiraling CT5-style. All parameters controllable by expression or CV. All delay modes can be used in conjunction with the looper.

I've read the manual and it's not my piece of cake: only mono input (no way to have a stereo in with a TRS cable, like I was hoping) and the looper can do only Rec > Play > Overdub, REc to Overdub is not possible.

So has anyone got one yet? There is a LOT of pedal going on there for $250.

Finally grabbed one of these recently at a slight discount from a local store via Reverb. So far, the modes that seem most impressive are mod, DMM, reverb, reverse, and shimmer. The looper feature is fairly intuitive when in looper mode, but kind of clunky when using random delay modes to loop. Definitely need to RTFM to better understand this pedal and will likely have more to report.
