Mesa Boogie Mark Five:25 head

Post by sylnau »

How does the Mark Five:25 take pedals?

Does the headphone output sound great for late at night practice?

It says it has a cab sim, so I would feel confident using it as a headphone amp

The headphone output on Mesa amps doesn't sound as good as a proper modeler in my experience. I would absolutely take my Yamaha TR10X over the headphone out on my TC100.

It's a Mesa and they usually are good with pedals. I haven't used that particular one though.

Headphone out on my f100 was serviceable. Using a Mesa Cab Clone has been a huge improvement.
