I found a 1st gen mini-Kaoss pad pretty cheap on ebay and it has pretty good sounds... just a smaller/unilluminated touchpad. RCA in/out. I use it at the end of a chain 'cause some of the patches make nice stereo.

That thing about the WH-1 was interesting.
Turns out the XP100 can do the same thing.
