It's not a pedal I would buy (I could possibly create something similar with the Zoom Multistomps), but:
- no midi out?
- hold tap tempo access preset scroll (so you wont need an additional FC, so that you use the clock/fc in for external clock in)
- it's a small complaint this but: why not use 3.5mm instead of the 1/4" jack for the CV clock in? This could have appealed more to the modular synth folks, and with the saved space they could have also implemented a clock out.

Unfortunately the "cheap boss" option is $175+ (looks like the scammers are trying to keep the price around $300+ now  ).

Uhmmm...maybe the Boss Slicer? $145-ish, currently.

The MD 500 sounded amazing through my Mesa Prodigy with my active basses. So, I loved it. This pedal also sounds good and I'm definitely interested in checking it out. I like the smaller form factor. As far as the look goes, I could really care less honestly. I like nice looking stuff, but as long as it gets the job done, I'm cool. Plus their shit is simple as hell to redo.

That demo, like almost all EHX demos, sounds covered in a weird digital sheen that sounds fake to me. Definitely need to hear it played by a more reliable source to judge it.

It's cool that they did demo it with more than just guitar though.

I feel like they could have color-coded some functions to make things a little more obvious, but it seems like a really promising pedal. No midi-out/thru makes me sad, though. Also, why are pan and trem dedicated effects and the other two can be chosen? It’d be really fun to be able to switch those out for something else. Maybe I missed it, but is there any way to change the order of the effects?

I think I’m beginning to agree with Behndy on EHX stuff. It’s so close to being perfect, but then they neglect something or include some strange limitation.

From the manual:
SIGNAL PATH
When all four sections are active, the signal path is FILTER -> MOD -> TREM -> PAN.

So basically no, you can't change the order.

  well there goes that idea. But also just found out the tremolo on a istomp can go into a pan mode to work as a panner. I have one laying around I just need to find my girlfriends old iphone with the old jack. Ahhh the istomp.

Wouldn't that just be a 8-step waveform and not random? :)*
