All this inspired me to take a gamble on the Behringer vintage tube monster. I’m broke as hell so I got it on a 4 payment plan. Figured I had little to lose. Tested it out of a tiny solid state practice amp and it actually sounds pretty damn good but the knobs/switches feel suuuuuuper cheap and fragile so I’ll use it for home recording but would never gig it

i scooped a bk butler/tube works blue tube about a week ago or so for super cheap b/c the outside is in pretty bad shape
from what turned out to be the original lead singer of the knack
but no not the my sharona the knack, the 60s garage/psych the knack.
thing absolutely rips but it smells like old guy and i mean that in the nicest & best way possible

This has been on my GAS list for a bit now. I just haven't been able to justify its price point in regards to other stuff I want. AT LEAST NOT YET.

I'm a huge Kingsley fan. Unfortunately, his wait list has gone through the roof, which has driven up prices on the used market. I'm using his preamps as well as his drives.
