The unstable part - I honestly didn't get what you were refering to, as I genueinely felt it was hard to tell.
The same about the two oscillators phase/change thing.
I think this means that the two oscillators interact with each other in unpredictable (and interesting ways), with certain settings. Examples: unstable pitches, rhythmic collisions, etc

Oh come on. You can do better than that :D
I already have all the guitars I need and more at the moment. And a bass. Is there a pedal you suggest I'd get instead?
Klon?

Actually, Klons sound good after drone synths.

If you already like the way your drone synth sounds, Klon will only make it sound better. :D

Still stand by a statement I made a while ago somewhere - the dsi evolver is the best drone synth ever made.

I had a Lyra-8 for a bit and it was amazing, just didn't fit in with the rest of my setup:

And this thing looks awesome! Behndy just got one

Lyra-( seems super cool but a little too much/advanced for what I'm looking for I think. Listened to a Tataki Drone6 demo too and really like how that sounds. I mentioned this "search" to a friend and he's offered to loan me his Korg Monologue, so maybe I should just start there...?

This whole thread has no mention of a Drone Commander. Shame.

Are any of the new versions worth it? I really miss my old ammo can :(

For a small pedal sized box, yeah, it was excellent. It moves in a way that most drone boxes don't. Has a few more jacks than the ammo can but the same sounds. I loved mine for a while, just sold it here. Sent me down a different path.

I've got one of those. I hardly use it but it's pretty dang cool and much better than the Electro-Faustus even though I dig their stuff mostly.
