Maybe it's my OCD but I don't think I ever get any company confused. I'm super weird about remember shit like that.

I get the EQD Tone Reaper and Adventure Audio Dream Reaper confused all the time and I have owned both of them!

A few years back, when I was kinda new-ish into pedals I owned a MI Audio Crunch Box and a M-audio expression pedal.
My expression pedal started acting weird I e-mailed M-audio about it. In the same e-mail I gave them massive praise for "their" crunch box, which I loved at the time, cause you know, I'm a nice guy. Reply arrives and they tell me they're a different company and don't make the crunch box.
