I've gotten so many PMs (8 in the last 3 hours), Instagram DMs and even emails regarding the finishes now. This is what is happening in order for me to keep track of everything:

1. Knut will send me your email addresses when we're getting closer to him shipping me the enclosures.
2. I will send you all a general email with design suggestions and whatnot, and you will reply your thoughts and your ILF username using the reply to all feature and we will take it from there.
3. We will deal with payment then, but PayPal will be the means of payment when the time comes.

Thanks!

Just so you know, I didn't know Knut was going to do another batch so soon or that so many of you would like me to finish your pedals. Last time I talked to Knut we were looking at 5 pedals over 2 batches with a gap in time between . Today is the first time I've talked to him since and now I've been told that I'm finishing 18 pedals by hand in one batch. Suffice to say I had not planned for this, time wise, financially or materially. I will obviously keep my promise and do them all at the agreed upon price, but it's going to take me much longer than a week (one pedal usually takes 3-4 days when I'm not attending my day job, but I imagine saving some time by doing a few at the same time). I will order materials early next week and hopefully these materials will be here in time for the enclosures to come in. I'll come back to you when I know more. Thanks!

Totally understandable  No pressure from my end; I know I'll appreciate whatever works out, even if that means going the unfinished route.... I'll watch the thread for more :snax:

I don't want to speak for anyone else, but part of the reason I went with your finish was to help ensure my chance of getting a pedal (not that I don't love your work), so if some of the workload could be lessened with a simpler finish, like just a solid colour or something, I'm more than happy to go with that. Just a thought.

Nonono, everyone who wants the finish done will get it (although I appreciate the sentiment!), I'm just letting you know that it ended up being a much bigger project than first anticipated. Having to do a single color would just mean more materials (canned paint vs tubed acrylic) and more work (it would require me to do it as a one-off). Again, I'm not telling you about this to change your minds or anything. Just informing you that we're looking at a more time consuming process.

Your willingness to take on so much extra work should be commended, UC.

Agreed! It's very cool of UC to take on such a large project and I'm very excited to see how they turn out.

UC is a real champ. I've completely forgotten to keep him in the loop and just assumed he had a direct connection to my brain or something. There's been so many requests which is really awesome. I'll send boxes to Kent early next week so he'll hopefully have plenty of time to do the acrylics. All the boards are soldered so we're making good time ATM

Hi gang

There's been a bit of a misunderstanding between me and UC about the amount of acrylic-finish-pedals. Long story short I increased the size of the batch while failing to communicate the amount to UC. At 15$ UC is basically working for free and we’ve decided I should order more plates to reduce his workload. This may result in a delay in shipping out your pedals. I’ll keep you updated here in this thread as the situation develops.

I’m sorry for all the confusion and extra communication. Organizing pre-orders with combined shipping and different finish options is very time consuming and confusing. I got a bit lost as the project escalated.
