How do these contrast/compare? Which should be tried first?
I'm mostly using fuzz (with synths) either in the FX loop of a Rubberneck or in front of phaser & reverb to smooth it out.
Bonus: who's using the GuitarDämmerung & what do you pair it with?

I was hoping this was going to be a thread about BBQing amplifiers.

Re: Fix'd vs Fubär
the fix'd has more tame fuzz settings compared to the fubar. although it can get wild
i personally like the fubar more. i like being able to adjust the bias/gate and i'd imagine that to be a handy option on synths as well.

Thanks for your thoughts, C. (are you still hunting down your elusive tremolo?) Based on demos, I was thinking along similar lines---the Fix'd seems to be more versatile, but the green bear seems to be more exotic when pushed into the margins. I'm already using a Four Eyes and Unpleasant Surprise, among others, but the Fubär seems to have a different flavor of nastiness.

Stacking the unpleasant surprise with the fubar
