Invincible Hero, from the forthcoming new Versus album:

Between this and the news about the forthcoming new Superchunk album, I am a very very very happy 90's-indierawk dork. See, this is my happy dance: :yay:

I'm not a massive fan of Bloc Party, butthey are growing on me a little and I have a lot of time for Russell Lissack, their guitarist, especially after seeing him play with Ash last week. Sometimes he comes off as ripping off Jonny Greenwood, but other times he does some cool stuff (plus he plays a blonde tele with a black guard - WIN). I also happen to like the live versions of this song rather than the studio version, purely because there's an actual bloody guitar on it. And I know how childish that may seem, but I think it sounds better.

I've seen a few clips from the Pumpkins' Viper Room gig now, and aside from Corgan losing it with a few hecklers and people talking, and then stopping the gig early, this new line-up is pretty good. Mike Byrne is no Jimmy Chamberlin, but he's not bad at all. I got a god feeling about this Pumpkins. Hopefully Billy won't leave it over a month between Teargarden tracks though.

Did you get Sonic & Knuckles as well? Can't play Sonic 3 without Sonic & Knuckles, that's only half a game, albeit an awesome half-game.

"Sonic 3 & Knuckles" is a game that still gives me great joy to play, even in 2010.

A Tullycraft tribute album. I don't know if it's actually out yet though...I fully should read that email.

Wizard, you'd probably like it.
