I'd love to see a deluxe version of the CF with tap tempo assignable in multiple ratios for the buffer size and repeat length controls. Separate or synced even.

That would be amazing but doubtful so I’m trying to see if this is doable as is. It would open up this pedal so much

I believe the CF is an FV1 design so its unlikely you could modify it from a hardware perspective.

I wish it could do a setting in which you don't have to predetermine the length/duration with a knob but could just hold down the footswitch for as long as you want/need, like on the Bananana Mandala or something.

Re: Charlie Foxtrot Tap tempo?
The Charlie Foxtrot does accept CV so, perhaps you could use a combination here. The Lightning Wave EVO for time and their little stomp tempo pedal (it's a 1/8th jack but just use a 1/8th to 1/4th). I wonder if that would work as a tap temp?
I can email Lee and see what he things if anyone is interested?

Re: Charlie Foxtrot Tap tempo?
The CV on the Charlie Foxtrot reads like it just allows for knob manipulation and automated turning of knobs. You have to set up those functions on the pedal so I don't think it will work to have a tapped tempo going into that jack unless you have a map of how that would work for each individual control.

I thought the sample size was controlled by a random LFO, in which case the idea of having tap tempo...

Re: Charlie Foxtrot Tap tempo?
Is it another microcontroller though? My point was that it is difficult to add a feature like tap tempo to a pedal that is running a program rather than utilizing as-is components to build an effect.Teej212 wrote:it is not, had one and peeked insidewhoismarykelly wrote:I believe the CF is an FV1 design so its unlikely you could modify it from a hardware perspective.

a Charlie Foxtrot with tap and presets would be out of this world.
