I have professionally had to mic up phones and toy speakers before. Certainly had a nice charm to the sound. If you do add the jack to sample, blend it with the miced speaker for lofi with hifi low end

Sorry, it won't let me embed youtube videos for some reason.
You need to remove the 's' from https: and the extra stuff in the link (&feature=youtu.be)

I see some 10k CLR's in your future! Nah JK. Hehe.
I want to build an OP07 rat just to compare. Or have Crochambeau send me a couple 308s ...
There's a nice schematic out there with a blend and some of the Reutz stuff.

Re: Let's see your finished DIY projects!
Those look great!
I wish I had enough of a stockpile of NOS to provide for everyone, but sadly I can only justify breaking them out for special occasions. One of these years I will roll myself an R2DU clone, but on to current events:

I got the over-size hole for my pilot light assembly cut into the chassis of what will (as "free time" allows) be an outboard tubed reverb build. I'm thinking of sending the chassis (or one just like it) off to jwar for beautification. The enclosure will also have a 45 degree recessed angle (but in wood) framing. I'm excited over this because I sold my last reverb a while back to fund a tool purchase and I miss it.
Hopefully this won't become a candidate for the U N F I N I S H E D project thread.
