True bypass Momentary loop

hey guys

so a quick question
i use my squarewave parade teaspoon for guitar but when it sits in my pedal chain it effects my signal way too much theres a volume difference even with the output cranked and i only use to to end my set or as a stutter in a song

would a true bypass looper take it out of the chain? and adding a momentary footswitch in the loop work the same as in using my jumbo foot to press the tiny button
