Dude it does everything lol. Check out this that I found on TGP (of all places). https://docs.google.com/document/d/1swr ... nee4v8bvmn

Super useful and fun to play with! I'm not sure how accurate it all is, but those guys are mega nerds...soooooooooooo...

My favorite on this sucker is the filter. Its so freaking good man. I swear it's got the best filter I've ever heard. On a damn delay too. I would have never guessed that shit. Boss knocked it out of the park with this.

The only thing they could have done better is allow for PC editing.

Yea, the no PC editor pisses me off - if they'd said "no editor" on launch, chances are the guy who did the GT-100 editor, GR-55 editor, etc before Boss put 'em out....would have.

This guy made an editor for the DD-500:

https://redd.it/4metf8

Haven't tried it yet because dun really need it, but seems promising.

The "muff" preset with the SFX mode is fucking hilarious because it does sounds good =[

So, it sounds like dropping a DS-1 from a roof improves the sound much more than any other mod. So yeah. Expect prices to raise on these.
Good deals: OsbornKT, Phantasmagorovich, UglyCasanova, DarkAxel, Skip, D.o.S, ColdBrightSunlight, Eivind August, Goroth

haha let me know, I will sell you one of my 3 PS-2's will give you a decent price. I no longer use two on my guitar board and I want a Boss PH1R! One of these days Im gonna become a Boss Modulation/Pitch Shifter hoarder tho. I really want an FZ-2 because of the hype on it. Im pretty much slowly making everything on my board boss at this point.

I've bought & sold a bunch of pedals over the last few years and am coming back around to loving Boss stuff for its simplicity of layout, form factor, and affordability (most of the time).

Already have an NS-2, CE-2w, OD-3, and RV-6 that I like. Recently bought a BD-2 which I also like. And incoming are a BF-2 and DF-2 for my Kitchens of Distinction sounds.

I'm set with delays with my Flashback 2, DE7, and MS-70CDR, but I'd still like to get an RE-20 if I found one at the right price.

Still need to try an SD-1, too.

I've never played the Turbo Dist, I've heard good things, though.

I got an early CE-3 at a yard sale a couple weeks ago, put it together with my DM-3 and now everything sounds like 1985.
