That's more of a reverse delay though. I find it quite difficult to work with.
The "Cave" mode in the Verbzilla is actually reverse reverb.

I'm told by two normally PDS fans that the 3000 is only so-so. didn't say why.

Re: Reverrrrrb Choice.
The verbzilla cave setting is the same as the cave setting on the M9. The cave setting is a modulated reverb not a reverse. It is very lush though.
I am not a bass player.

Re: Reverrrrrb Choice.
Before I had an RRR, I would use a delay at a low mix for reverb. Now I use an RRR and it is so much better than that or using amp reverb.

Do you like listening to homemade music? Me too. Why don't you try one of mine?

Re: Reverrrrrb Choice.
just picked up the EHX Cathedral Reverb today at the local shop.
It sounds quite fine to me, taking it to rehearsal tonight... see if it can fit in with our current setlist, perhaps i can bring it to our show next week

My other guitar player has a cathedral and we all love it to death. Very rarely is it off.

Re: Reverrrrrb Choice.
i got an RRR a couple of weeks ago and I absolutely love it, easily my favourite pedal. it's pretty much always on in some capacity, even if it's just a light touch of 'verb. i find all the settings sound similar and equally good (well except the rotary one but that doesn't count as a real setting), but that makes it hard to decide what i want to use. when i started playing shoegaze, i thought i was going to need a huge epic pedalboard that would needed to be airlifted from gig to gig, but the rrr is so good at the gaze sound that i'm now wondering if i need any other pedals apart from a good fuzz and my rrr.
