MWFX Mini Judder?

Post by eyobeez »

Anybody know when these things'll be back in stock? I've been saving a spot for it on my board for, like, a year and a half. Specifically looking for one that has the two mode switches.

Also, can anyone attest to the mini judder's quality, reliability, and coolness level?

I've seen a couple mini judders come up for sale but they were all in Europe and by the time I got a response back from the seller about international shipping they had already sold. A Raptio is going to be really close to a Mini Judder and is way easier to find. Noise floor on Judders is also really high so that can be annoying. I ended up true bypassing my Metal Judder to deal with it.

Kinda sucks about the noise floor, but I have a mini true bypass looper just in case.

Just got an email back from Matt (MWFX) and he said he's going to put the components into the first batch of mini judders very soon.

Had one for ages, was cool for what it did, but yeah high noise floor and strong colouration on the repeats vs your input signal. I tried mine at various points in my chain and the kind of runaway-feedback setting just went straight to nasty as soon as it was engaged. The weird spitty crunchy sounds on the slowest repeats were nice too.
