WTF did we just watch? It looked great, good music. But the story is mostly barren if not just weird.
Yeah that was a pretty weird one, but entertaining enough. Music was almost all Darkside, which I probably enjoyed the most:

I'm a post-apocalyptic sci-fi buff, so The Bad Batch has been beckoning me for some time. Speaking of which, just wrapped up Into the Badlands season 2 and sincerely wonder why I stopped watching while AMC was first airing it. Other than the perpetual over-the-top martial arts cheese factor, I found it quite bingeable ... kind of like Mad Max meets Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon with a twist of feudal system. The missus and I just discovered The Mighty Boosh on Prime Video, which is absurdly hilarious and will likely become "our show" for the next few weeks of evening TV.
First 2 are currently on (UK) Netflix and I'd assume the third will be up at some point.
The "Save the Expanse" hype is slightly confusing to me. It's a pretty decent show but not the best thing since sliced bread. I wasn't terribly upset when it was cancelled and don't care enough about it to pay for an Amazon subscription!

I wouldn't say it's the best thing since sliced bread, but of today's current crop of sci-fi shows, it's easily one of my favourites. Pretty happy to see it saved, although I'm not sure if Amazon will be worth it considering I already have Netflix and Crave. How many streaming services does one person really need?
I actually bought the first Expanse book and started reading it. Mostly because Warren Ellis apparently read all the series and if he has time for it, then I shall do too.
I like the series (just saw the first 2 seasons), glad it'll keep existing. And I even have a Prime account, that is mostly used to get cooking books or diapers fast, as their selection and user interface are just mehrghblrp.
I've got the Audiobooks, because I forgot to cancel my Audible account and they're great. Honestly, the show takes about 3-4 episodes for all the subplots to get properly underway - by season 2 it's a very compelling watch. That being said, it's nice to see the actors and production crew take the series seriously and give a real shit about it.
I've watched all of the first two seasons and don't get me wrong I really enjoyed it and hope the third season comes on Netflix at least, I just don't like anything enough to pay for an extra streaming subscription

All you need to do is join the capitalist wonderland that is Amazon Prime and the video streaming is an afterthought.
