Yeah the necessity of hooking it into their apps is a big bummer. I'm pumping the brakes a little because my friend with a rhodes and a piano said I can use them which will be perfect at least for the first while. Still plan on picking up something small at some point.Inconuucl wrote:Blocks are fun, but certain things like the lack of expression on the top notes (due to lack of physical space) and the absolute reliance on the NOISE app in iOS made me not be too hot on them. I haven't tried the small version of the seaboard but the larger one was fantastic once I got used to it. Your mileage might be different on PC though.PeteeBee wrote:Does anyone mess with the roli seaboard or block stuff? Seems like a great op1 alternative. Maybe I just need an op1.
I really wanted Korg to release an update to the Nanokey Studio, since the normal one just gets so close to good.

It's worth noting that since MPE is now part of the MIDI standard the reliance on the noise app might change.

I really wish Malekko would’ve made the BFF before the MANTHER. A polyphonic, wavetable synth for $650 would be a lot cooler than a fancy SH-101 style thing.

Is it blasphemous to change really good knobs to 1960 ham radio knibs on a "how dare you"maybe, pedal...plastic pots are wack....I really like the feel of the synthy knobs the ring has now...knobs are important in communication with a third mind selah

Just take the screws out and see if you can flip the lid open without breaking the seal. I agree though, I like to see what I paid for
