After a very
non-DIY ¿? crowdfunding campaign, they're coming back it seems.
Also Jeff has been posting stuff on his YouTube channel.

Weird. I'm open to it, but the odds of these guys still being the same band 17 years after the fact can't be good. Hell, they weren't even the same band on their last record. I don't understand why bands these days can't just stay broken up. Do what you want to do creatively, but accept when a given project has run its course and move on. Stuff like this always just feels like a marketing gimmick--capitalizing on name recognition.
Former Bands: Lazy Gaga, Kadis-kot, Pyramids, In First Person, the Holy Fucking Spirit, Take Down Your Art, A Petal Fallen

I have mixed feelings about those things, I'd totally go to a JD show, but new record? meh.
And yes, the whole thing smells...weird. Same when GY!BE went full ironic

Loved them when I was in high school, 2000ish. Went through a bunch of the old skramz not too long ago. That was a good day at work.

There is very little chance this is going to be good, but I'm definitely going to check it out.
For those of you out there who haven't heard JD, you can listen to/buy their entire output on
bandcamp . Top tier screamo/noise/hardcore.
