So, I went ahead and pulled the trigger on one of these! I am excited! I plan on getting into my brothers studio initially with it and testing different vocals and instruments with it. I have some pretty specific sounds I've been looking for and this mic seems like it may do exactly what I want without using any added effects, which is great.
I'll share pics and clips when I get it and we put something together!

Nice! I'm forever curious about these mics, and have similar thoughts of how they might be just what I want, but my lack of experience with normal mics makes me nervous that it'll just be wasted on me.
