Ha! That was news to me! So technically I can now win some bar bets by claiming that Marr was indeed in the Happy Mondays, albeit for 25 minutes. I would have been terrified at the idea of being on an island with Shaun for 12 weeks. It would have ended in death, prison, or permanent brain damage...although it would have been fun as hell.

two weeks ago we hired a russian guy in his late 30's for second shift cnc mill set up named evgeni. in english that is eugine i was told. on friday i told him to be careful with his axe. he said "thank you! the pink floyd is great group, no!?!". i gave him a hand shake hug and agreed!

Yeah, Portal Of Sorrow, he wanted to quit before he became like so played out like so many other black metal bands. Having Marissa Nadler was a cool touch, though I can't say it was my favorite Xasthur album... Good thing he's starting Disharmonic Variations now, should be cool
