OK,as some of you who've heard my music know,I overdub loops and play over them. I don't have a drummer to compete with. I am the drummer(I tap out beats on my pups thru various pedals). I like to play guitar thru bass amps,in order to capture the lows for when I'm playing pick up drums. I'm not rich. Recommend me a good,cheap,giggably loud bass amp that sounds good. I don't wanna pay more than 200.00 Is it out there? Does such a thing exist? Anybody?

Look for a peavey combo 300.

Pretty sure you can get one that cheap if not close.

I wish I could think of something other then old Peavys but I can't... Time to start digging in the junk shops and pawn shops maybe.. you can sometimes find really odd stuff cheap... and sometimes not....

I got an ampeg BA115 combo for damn near $200...I think it was $230 after shipping. Shortly after that, the band in which I played bass broke up, so I tried to sell it to a guy locally for $200 and ended up letting it go for $180

Used peavey, acoustic, and ampeg stuff is the best bet. All can usually be found in that price range also. I used to see the old acoustics in the $200 range all the time.

Yea, I have/had 2 of the new ones. A small room combo and my current main amp, b200h. No complaints so far.

small club,for the most part. Then,for larger gig,maybe mic'd thru a soundboard? 20 bass amp watts are louder than 20 gtr. watts,right?

The 20watter(b20 is the one I had) would likely get drowned out by drums . You would want to mic it for sure, IMO.
