i'm really interested in that Ed O'Brien sig model Strat with the Sustainer pickup, but it's so fucking expensive :(

I've played the Jackson's that had them in it .. pretty dope IMO

They make a 7 string version now.. kind of want to put one in my RG7620... :joy:

The ebow was definitely a challenge to use with bass so if this is better..... we’ll consider me VERY INTRIGUED.

It might lead balloon - the "hotter signal" didn't do well on the 90s ebows (which is why they went with the lower-output stuff and bells and whistles on the newer ones)..

That said, I love my 90s high output monster - had it for 25 years or so now, and it's been back to the mothership a couple times for switch repair/replacement (which they do for free for life).

And they comply with my "if you touch the guts, keep the old mega output model intact."

With bass, it takes a bit of work even for that model to fly largely due to the spacing being set up for normal six string. On Bass VI, however, it's Jesus amazing.

Will pick up one of these TC models when they get put up used for a song realistically.
