Serious question for ILF drummerdudes: is Peart's kit efficient and/or necessary? Listening to their music, can you tell if he actually uses everything there? As a non-drummer, I feel unqualified to pass judgement.

He actually uses all his drums and does interesting shit with them. Have also seen him kill on a small drumset so they're not just a crutch so he can do the same fill but on different drums to make it sound different. I fucking love Rush.
