I kinda like how this sounds more and more, actually. But I still don't understand why they're not putting tone knobs on some of their pedals. Like two octaves up get real shrill. Would be nice to roll some of the top end off.

See I think the time stretch on the Tensor doesn't work very well at all either. I thought I was maybe misunderstanding it, but no, it just doesn't work that well.

I played with it a lot yesterday and it functioned great, no pops or click. I don't get it. So I'm not sure what the fuck that means. Is it going to only do it every other time I play? Either way, I'm going to get rid of mine. I have an Outward on the way. Plus I have a CT5 and Stammen 2. I just don't need it.

They don't come up used often.

There are only 200 or so out in the world, so it'll be a while before they become as common as the Generation Loss. Considering how fast they sell out, I imagine Teej212 will continue to have them manufactured now and again. It is a really excellent pedal, for sure. However, like the Gen Loss, the taper on the mix knob is kind of shit. The dry signal is only at full volume when the mix is completely dry. As you roll up the wet signal, the dry signal immediately begins to attenuate. It is not minor. At 12 o'clock, both the wet and the dry signals are significantly quieter than either of them are at full dry/full wet. If you're turning the pedal on and off while you play, or adjusting the mix level, you have to compensate with a boost elsewhere in your chain. This is why I recommend a loop blender with the Outward on full wet. No volume loss.

That's the same issue I have with the Tensor and Particle's mix knobs -- and a lot of other companies actually. Seems like this should be on every builder's radar at this point.

Interesting people aren't liking the time stretching quality on the Tensor. I thought it was totally fine. I liked the Outward too, but the 1 second loop time wasn't what I was looking for at the time. I might try another though if I got lucky when the next batch comes out.

Longtime lurker, first-time poster. Glad to see so much conversation here around the Tensor.

I've started a recipe book for the Tensor (with audio samples of the effects) on my blog: http://wolfewithane.com/red-panda-lab-tensor-recipes, Not much there yet, and probably only effects that Tensor owners here have already tried. I'll add new ones as I get more familiar with the pedal.
