Hah, I knew Andy when I lived in Paris, we met a lot in events where one or both of us played or just the local experimental electronic music scene. There were not that many people doing circuit bending locally at the time (early 2000s) and while I was more the "let's organize a workshop" guy Andy was all harsh noise/DIY/squats/etc. He'd been doing that for much longer than me, too (he's been there for longer than almost anyone into circuit bending).$harkToootth wrote:Hey Buddy!!!! http://evilmoisture.free.fr/
Andy Bolus of EVIL MOISTURE. He'll be the first to tell you he WORKS VERY SLOW....I've basically become his pen-pal over the past two years trying to get these

He'll also be the first to tell you that he "doesn't love building electronics anymore". The pieces of gear are super affordable...it just seems like (is) that he doesn't want any more orders.
EVIL MOISTURE is a cool noise/art project too if you don't already know it. I love his aesthetic.

Working on it, for sure.chrisdermo wrote:
Did I read somewhere that you're making a drum machine or did I dream that? Legit can't remember.

It was funny. While I was ordering I realized a had a few of his tapes. I had his one on FAG TAPES and a split he did with MACRONYMPHA. I was like (in E-mail) "Ohhhhhhh...that's you...."oscillateur wrote:Hah, I knew Andy when I lived in Paris, we met a lot in events where one or both of us played or just the local experimental electronic music scene. Alright. That was freaking great! Why can't I get moogs to behave like that?lumena wrote:Rebuttal Moog Subsequent 37 - decided to see if it was as interesting as a Lyra.
