Your Most Overrated Bands

I hated the Beatles and the Stones growing up. I came around on the Beatles 10 years ago and the Stones about 3 years ago.

I still hate Bob Dylan though. There are a few songs I can handle but they were when he went electric with a real band behind him.
Yeah, not into Sublime at all.

Also unpopular opinion with people in my age group. I don't like Radiohead.

I didn't pick up on jealous and bitterness from the Quincy Jones article. He's got nothing to be bitter about, he's had one of the most remarkable music careers of the latter 20th century that I can think of. He's an old dude who's seen it all; of course he's not impressed by much.

Maybe I'm misreading him for being real versus bitter? I dunno. It sounded like a lot of jealousy to me, but I'm not him, nor am I in his industry, so I could be completely off. I do know that Jackson's family read it the same way I did but they are fucked up people anyway...Soooo...

I used to hate Radiohead until recently. The newest cd got me hooked on them. I used to listen as a teen, didn't get it, now I feel a real connection with their music. It speaks to me and I love music that does that.

I can't imagine why Quincy Jones'd be jealous of Michael Jackson.
