sorry for the delayed response. tried it and it's not much except for a slight change in EQ a little more gain and lots more noise (since the noise floor is now being boost like 10000000db with both running)

Just curious... you mentioned that you gave a "tip of the hat" to the SHO. So how would you (or anyone else that owns one) compare the Blowing Up to the SHO?

The SHO, to my ears, add a toffee like crackle to the top end of the signal. TO the same ears I hear a much louder boost in Blowing Up, a demphasis in the top end, and a buttery creamy fudge simmer to the low end.

A de-emphasis? Is that to say that Blowing Up actually takes off some highs or rather that it just doesn't emphasize them as much as compared to the SHO?

Also, you've touched my sweet tooth with your description. I think I'll have the gf make me some cookies. :)*

I think we're getting a little caught up in the nuance of language here. to simplify: blowing up does not sound as bright as the SHO.

I love my blowing up, oh so much. Putting it inside the feedback loop of my Utter Stutter (with it as the only active pedal) makes the greatest low end thump. I had L add a momentary switch on mine and it makes for awesomeeeee delay swells. I'm tempted to buy another to put outside of the Utter Stutter...

I also LOVE the way it sounds before OR after my Big Muff. Such delicious walls.
