Tele pickups, buddy

Post by foomanfat »

So, I'm thinking of replacing the pickups in my Squier Classic Vibe Thinline Tele.
I'm looking for something with higher output, but still clean and full. I was looking at Lollar or Bare Knuckle pickups.
Wondering if anyone has any experience with either of these companies or if anyone has other suggestions.
Or just anyone with tele pickup experience at all.
Thanks in advance.

My fave is the Seymour Duncan STL1B in the bridge. Neck: I'm still looking.

i have the super 90 in the bridge and vintage plus in the neck, and i am in love.

(plus the neck pups come with cool plastic covers that match your pickguard!)

Sorry to be sorta off-topic, but how do you like that guitar? I'm looking for a cheap tele (preferably thinline).

Dude, I love it. I went to a store to look at mexican tele's and spied it up on the wall. I had heard good things about the Classic Vibe line, but I was blown away by how well it played.
And it loves fuzz, so there you go.

I'd go with bareknuckles if you want higher output.
