Oversized 2x12

All I want is a 2x12 but I hated how awkward looking my Orange ppc 2x12 was standing on its end (I like to get at my amp controls). I loved that cab, closed back version, sounded perf with my OR50.

I'm looking for recommendations for oversized 2x12 cabinets. I wish I was more familiar with speakers but I just really need to figure out the box. I know of Emperor and Atlas. Are there are other recommended cab makers out there? Anyone selling?

Janice has some nice-sized 2x12s. Janice, Emperor, Atlas, Tyrant, Black Market Custom, etc can all make you a big boy, but I think their prices are astronomical. Mauler and dominion are ilf dudes who make great stuff too and probably cost a bit less. Shipping cabs is also a major $ killer.

Heck, Ill make ya whatever for nearly half of what any of the above cost new.

They're beefy... basically weighs as much as your standard 4x12, I'd guess somewhere in the 50-60 lb range...

I ran a 4x12 can with only 2 speakers in it for a while. It was the ultimate in oversize

What's dominion dudes ILF handle? I found the FB page and shot off a message. I like what he's got, plus I live in VA.

Found a solid deal on a like new Orange PPC212 in black. Pulled the trigger. Until next time...

(Then Orange went and released that new vertical 2x12...)
